What you will do
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Production Technician to join our growing dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoys the one team, one dream motto! The Packaging Technician will ass the manufacturing team in the production, packaging, and labeling of cannabis based medicines. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
- Benefits are offered through UFCW Local 27
- Starting union wage: $17.03/hr.
Highlighted Responsibilities
- Assist with bucking harvests
- Trim flower for sale & process into final packaging
- Production of pre-roll cannabis products
- Assemble secondary packaging
- Perform secondary packaging of Cannabis products
- Print and apply labels to finish packaged product
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Able to work independently as well as operating as a team
- Perform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient demand
- Keep an inventory of packaging/labeling materials to ensure supply chain stability
- Provide feedback to improve process quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (i.e. Excel, Word) and other cloud-based data collection software.
- Great communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to stand and sit for an extended period of time.
- Ability to pass background check and drug test as required by law
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
