What the role is about: 
We are seeking an experienced Lead Patient Care Coordinator  to join our growing and talented team! The Lead Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for working alongside the Cannabis Patient Center (CPC) team in a retail environment. This position reports to the Director of Patient Services and the District Manager.

What impact you’ll make:   

  • Participates in helping develop policies and process in relationship to regulations, medication and systems.
  • Helps promote company best practices.
  • Identifies and trains preceptors at the CPCs to help facilitate training across all locations.
  • Facilitates any necessary changes in patient facing communication working alongside of DPS, District Manager and the Marketing team
  • Trains newly hired Patient Care Coordinators on CPC dispensing policies and procedures and in the use of cannabis-based medicines.
  • Records notes when requested in any team meeting and can lead and conduct meetings when requested.
  • Assists with developing and implementing streamlined communication to all CPC staff.
  • Plays an active role in developing and sustaining patient support groups. 
  • Helps enforce and coach all PCC staff on process and procedures including cleaning and sanitation.
  • Represent the PCC’s as a Green Goods Role model displaying the Green Goods customer service model.
  • Participates in company initiatives to achieve set goals and performance indicators; contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  • Assists with the incoming orders, shipments, and deliveries of supplies.
  • Responsible for being a solution focused leader in finding ways to improve company goals and directive.
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned.
  • Effectively works with leadership to develop a work balance between PCC and Lead PCC responsibilities.
    • Lead can be in a PCC role and still be responsible for Lead PCC duties
    • Lead can be asked to transition into a PCC role when scheduled as a Lead PCC based on business need.
    • Lead can help facilitate needs at any CPC location.
  • Required to fill job descriptions set forth as a PCC.
    • Follows all process and regulations set for in dispensing medication to customers.
    • Follows the Green Goods Customers service manual.
    • Assists customers with all aspects of preparing, setting up, and finalizing the dispensation process for medication as regulated by the office of medical cannabis.
    • Completes CPC operational requirements by maintaining an organized workflow; verifying preparation and labeling of medications, verifying order entries and charges.
    • Flexible availability including but not limited to weekends and evenings.

What you’ve accomplished: 
  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years experience in a retail environment.
  • 1-2 years of direct management experience preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to communicate effectively with patients, families, and co-workers. 
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Prompt attendance to shifts and responsible time management. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • A lifelong learner willing to stay on top of the constant changes of the cannabis industry.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to understand, support, and implement community and organizational policies/procedures, along with government regulations. 
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and grow with position/company. 
  • Ability to analyze information and implement quality control. 
  • Acts ethically and applies good judgment.

Starting union rate: $25.92/hr. Competitive union benefits offered.
