Security Transportation Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Transportation Specialist (STS) to join the Bold Lane Logistics team on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical and recreational cannabis market into a reality.

Our Security Transportation Specialist (STS) will work out of our warehouse location in Festus. Full-time employees will receive medical benefits, paid time off, and a starting rate of $25/hr. The job is Monday - Friday with limited weekends, and varying hours with the first route leaving as early as 4:30 a.m. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Transport products between various licensed locations throughout the state
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external customers
• Operate under security protocols and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with 19 CSR 100-1.140(4)
• Submit reporting and security observations accurately and timely
• Maintain a secure vehicle by; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting the vehicle, equipment, and access points to ensure functionality and effectiveness
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities
• Provide routine checkups to ensure equipment is operating within compliance
• Load and unload vehicles at the destination; prepare transportation manifests and ensure that all appropriate signatures are obtained in a timely manner
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Complete logs and reports
• Professionally and respectfully engage with personnel, visitors, government agencies, and the general public

Required Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a Driver, with at least 5 years' experience in commercial delivery.
• Must have a valid Class E Driver’s License along with a clean driving record (no violations)
• Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess the ability to reach, bend, stoop, sit, stand, lift, and carry up to 50lbs.
• Must possess the ability to drive the transportation vehicle long distances and spend up to 90% of time driving.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Graduate of DHS (Department of Homeland Security) driver training conducted by F.L.E.T.C. (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center)
• Prior experience with Dignitary and/or Principal Protection Details
