 What you will do

We are seeking an energetic and flexible Full-Time Shift Lead to join our growing dynamic team! The Shift Lead is responsible for working in collaboration with the dispensary management team. This role will be involved in providing outstanding customer service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and general upkeep of the store's cleanliness and appearance. The Shift Lead will work with the General Manager & Assistant manager in completing all dispensary functions. In absence of the General Manager and the Assistant Manager, the Shift Lead must have the ability to oversee all store operations. This position will report directly to the General Manager. Highlighted Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store
• Providing sales and excellent customer service
• Actively participating in store walkthroughs with the Store Manager and State leaders to ensure consistency in the quality of service, operation and visual execution.
• Motivate and work together with management and employees to meet sales goals.
• Lead by example and coach team members on performance.
• Ensue that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a warm & friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining proficient cannabis knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
• Process cash/credit/debit purchases at register using Dutchie (POS) system.
• Intake deliveries and manager inventory by utilizing Metrc
• Support the General Manager in ensuring company standards and Maryland state regulations are followed.
• Candidates must have the ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move and handle boxes of merchandise
  (weighing up to 50 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above;

Qualifications

· A high school diploma and 1-3 years’ experience in a retail environment

· Proficiency with MS Office required

· Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred

· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

· Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Adaptable to change in the work environment

· At least 21 years of age as required by law

· Weekend availability

· Ability to pass background check and drug test as required by law (positive marijuana test is acceptable if applicant is a Maryland certified medical cannabis patient)
