Salary range: $80,000-$95,000 + commission

What the role is about:
As we expand in Minnesota, we’re looking for a driven, strategic, and experienced Wholesale Manager to lead our market presence and grow strong partnerships.
What impact you'll make:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive wholesale growth across Minnesota.
- Forecast sales performance, manage pipelines, and deliver against revenue targets.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional agreements in alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Monitor wholesale margins, promotional spend, and partner payment status to ensure account profitability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale partners, ensuring excellent customer service and responsiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary buyers, retail partners, and distribution accounts.
- Provide product education, marketing collateral, and promotional support to partners.
- Address and resolve order discrepancies, product quality concerns, and partner issues.
- Work closely with the distribution team to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time deliveries.
- Align wholesale demand with available inventory, collaborating with operations and supply chain teams to manage allocations.
- Purchase third-party vendor products to expand in-store assortment and improve retail product mix.
- Monitor returns, damages, and discrepancies to minimize revenue leakage.
- Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and community events to strengthen brand visibility and partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations on product launches, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
- Identify new market opportunities and recommend product or partnership strategies.
- Partner with compliance teams to ensure all transactions, promotions, and documentation meet state cannabis regulations.
- Work with finance on pricing models, collections, reporting, and margin optimization.
- Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records for all wholesale accounts, contracts, and activity.
- Provide actionable insights and sales reports to senior leadership to refine strategy.
- 60-70% travel required based on needs of the business
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or business development; cannabis, CPG, or regulated industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to hit or exceed sales targets and manage key accounts.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms; METRC or other seed-to-sale systems experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Minnesota cannabis regulations and compliance requirements for wholesale transactions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic market.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass all state-required background checks.
