What the role is about:
The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting seamless supply chain operations. The primary focus is on conducting precise inventory audits, processing orders, and coordinating with various teams to uphold the highest standards in product quality and regulatory compliance.

What impact you’ll make: 
Inventory Management (40%)
  • Execute meticulous inventory audits with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in compliance with both regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Prioritize and process orders with precision, aligning them seamlessly with policy and purchase requirements to facilitate efficient and error-free shipments.
  • Engage proactively with the Logistics Manager to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring a synchronized approach to inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Record and report all incoming data entries with a systematic approach, guaranteeing accurate documentation in the ERP system and meticulous maintenance of METRC records.
 
Quality Control and Compliance (30%)
  • Implement stringent quality control measures for Extracts, Oils, Distillates, Terpene Distillates, and finished goods, upholding the highest standards in product quality.
  • Maintain meticulous records of Quality Control processes and create preliminary test samples, ensuring a comprehensive and traceable documentation trail.
  • Champion and reinforce a culture of compliance by adhering to and promoting state, company, and MED regulations, embodying an unwavering commitment to regulatory standards.
  • Foster an inquisitive mindset, staying abreast of evolving rules and regulations to adapt and integrate new knowledge seamlessly into daily operations.
 
Administrative and Operational Support (30%)
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly routine inventory tracking with precision, utilizing spreadsheets to maintain a systematic and organized approach.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating all incoming materials, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process in collaboration with various teams and units within the supply chain.
  • Record financial transactions with accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures, contributing to the overall financial integrity of inventory operations.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with different teams and units within the supply chain, fostering effective communication and a cohesive operational environment.
 
Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities. 

What you’ve accomplished:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Experience with ERP and METRC systems.
Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)  
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Hours will vary based on needs of the business (Nights, Weekends, Holidays to be expected).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of Colorado.
